About Impact Publishers

Impact Publishers is a small publishing and printing organisation of 10 employees based in the colourful and historic town of Ballycastle. A seaside resort, the little community nestles between The Giant's Causeway, famous for its unique columnar basalt rock formations (the eighth wonder of the world) and The Glens of Antrim, universally popular in song and beauty. Just off-shore is Rathlin Island, one of the few remaining inhabited islands of Ireland.

Impact Publishers have been responsible for over 100 local history books in the past 30 years. Many of these are out of print but can be accessed by us from specialist booksellers in the area.

Titles currently available cover a range of topics including shipwrecks and seafaring, military history, compilations of old photographs (many from the last century), centenary books of the area's famous golf clubs, church histories rich in names (a must for genealogists) and annual publications of local historical societies.
